The man most directly responsible for this twaddle was Alastair Murray, who
did thus comment on Re: Amos for PC on the night of 29-Oct-97:
-> His e-mail address is : carl@scaryred.demon.co.uk
Yup, thats right. He can still check it, and I imagine he is unaware of
telnet from uni, as he currently has 295 mails on it waiting to be
downloaded (an excellent FINGER ability, only available to demon customers
AFAIK, which lets you see the no. of emails any other demon member has)
-> But I don't know if he accesses that one at Uni.
-> If he doesn't reply then I can find out his university e-mail address.
I used to have this somewhere. Ill see if I can rustle it out.
-> As for pentos, I get the feeling it sort of stopped because of the
-> summer holidays and then he couldn't be bothered going back to it.
-> Hes doing other programs though (games I think) and I was going to
-> start something with him at one point although that sort of ended once
-> I realised I had to actually do some work this year...
-> He used to have a web page at : http://www.scaryred.demon.co.uk (I
-> think) but I don't kow if it's still there.
Well, from what he told me, PENTOS is a project he is doing for school. It
was a programming language to be developed, on which the school would give
him marks for. Wether the school project itself has finished, im not sure,
but I could have sworn there were a few more weeks left.
